Subscription & Billing Terms

1) About these terms
These Subscription & Billing Terms supplement our Terms of Service. They apply to all paid subscriptions, token credit purchases, and billing-related matters on the INFIRISK platform. Where these Billing Terms conflict with the general Terms of Service on a billing matter, these Billing Terms take precedence.
2) Subscription plans
INFIRISK offers subscription plans for businesses, professionals, and manufacturers. Each category has multiple tiers with different features and limits. Current pricing and plan details are displayed on the relevant sign-up or upgrade page within the platform.
We may introduce, modify, or discontinue subscription tiers with reasonable notice. See section 10 (Price changes) below.
3) Billing and payment
Subscriptions are billed either monthly or annually, depending on your chosen billing cycle. All subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT will be added where applicable at the current UK rate.
INFIRISK does not store your full payment card details. Payment information is held securely by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards.
4) Free tiers and trials
Some subscription categories include a free tier with limited features. Free tiers do not require payment and are not time-limited. If we introduce trial periods for paid tiers, we will clearly state the trial duration and what happens when it ends before you start the trial.
5) Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account billing portal or account settings. Upon cancellation:
- You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
- Your account will revert to the free tier (if available) or become inactive at the end of the paid period.
- No automatic pro-rata refunds are issued for early cancellation.
- For annual plans, you retain access for the remainder of the paid year. No pro-rated refunds are issued for unused months.
6) Refunds
Billing errors: If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact us within 30 days of the charge at hello@infirisk.co.uk. We will investigate and correct any confirmed billing errors, including issuing a refund where appropriate.
Service issues: If you experience a significant service disruption, contact us to discuss a possible account credit or pro-rated refund. Such adjustments are at our reasonable discretion.
How to request a refund: Email hello@infirisk.co.uk with your account email address, the invoice or charge reference, and a description of the issue.
7) Token credits
INFIRISK uses a token credit system for certain platform features. Tokens can be earned through your subscription (free monthly allowances) or purchased as credit packs.
Tokens may be used for:
- Publishing news articles on the platform
- Promoting published articles for increased visibility
- Other platform features as introduced from time to time
Token costs for each feature are displayed at the point of use. We may change token costs with reasonable notice. Credit pack purchases are non-refundable once any tokens from the pack have been used.
8) Free allowances
Certain subscription tiers include a monthly free allowance of tokens or feature uses (for example, a number of free article publishes per month). Free allowances:
- Reset at the beginning of each calendar month.
- Do not roll over — unused free allowances expire at the end of the month.
- Are subject to change with your subscription tier.
9) Article promotion
Published articles can be promoted for a token cost per day. Promotion increases the visibility of your article across the platform. Promotion does not guarantee a specific number of views, clicks, or a particular placement position. You can stop a promotion at any time; tokens are charged per day of active promotion.
10) Price changes
INFIRISK may change subscription prices, token costs, or credit pack prices. For material price changes, we will give at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Existing subscriptions will be honoured at the current price until the next renewal date after the notice period.
11) Introductory and beta pricing
During our Public Beta Programme, pricing is intended for early adopters and may be lower than post-beta pricing. We will aim to give reasonable notice of any material pricing changes when the beta period ends.
